There was a 9’ Sienna combo going cheap from BCF recently, that’d be a good start for something entry level.

Brown Trout: 37cm
Flathead: 51cm; Squid: 36cm; Australian Salmon: 51cm; Snapper 46cm; Silver Trevally 23cm; KGW: 45cm

I have a Samaki Zing 9'0" 20-60g cast weight.
Good allrounder if you wanna cast up to 60g. There is a lighter one up to 45g if you like smaller lures better...
Faster taper. Have caught plenty of salmon and a couple of kings on it...
Can't say a bad thing about it.

yep, cannot go past this current offer superb value for under $100 for a rod and reel
The 9 foot model would suit the task perfectly!! bonus of a 4k sienna reel as well

How much do you want to spend?
The sienna combo is excellent value. Anything 9 foot, fairly stiff casting around 50g will do.
I have a 903 Assassin Amia Zero which is one of the nicest rods i've ever used. A whole heap of us were using the old Coastal revolution as well.

Popular, maybe. but are they any good? I mean if I was sponsored by said company of course I'd recommend their product.Seniorfisho wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 11:25 amI really like the look of thatIFISHALOT wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 8:53 pm10' TiCA Graphite Extremes are popular for throwing Slugs of the beach.
