Higher end soft plastics rod

Post by MasterBaiter24 » Thu Mar 04, 2021 7:04 pm

Hi,
I have a 1-3kg catana at the moment, but I want to upgrade to a higher end rod. It would have to be around 7'-7'2 range as I am 100% land based, and I would like the same weight class, but preferably something that would let me flick light lures further. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks

There's few out there. All depends on how much you're willing to spend.
Millerrods, Daiwa Commander/Battler/Steez, Samurai. Zodias is a nice rod too.

I'm currently running an Abu Garcia veritas for my soft plastics fishing set up and I'm loving it so I'd absolutely recommend it.

Agree, veritas is good, especially for the price. I bought a couple years ago, still got one, sold the other one.

Check out infeet too, it's a great rod.
Anglers Warehouse still have the old infeet for $169, I reckon it's better than the new $189 infeet. The new higher models are better though I reckon.

I use a nitro baby viper. Not sure you can get them anymore but it's fantastic.
