help identifying a rod

hey,
i have been watching this guys videos for years and he's a real good youtuber, i was just wondering if anyone knows what overhead rod and reel he is using. he's put it through hell and its real good quality.

Have you tried asking him directly?
Or just comment on the YouTube video/channel.
I tried watching it, the screaming hurts my ears, stopped after few seconds.
There's a lot of overhead reels and rods like that, and can do the same job.

you get used to the screaming, i have been thinking of commenting on his video for a while, he has insta linked in his vids but i dont have insta, so its kinda hard to ask him directly. you said there's a lot of overhead rods and reels like that, can you suggest any?

i usually only buy shimano, but I'll have a look.

That is a slow pitch jigging rod. Absolutely useless to anyone without a boat.
They are designed to fish metal jigs vertically, exactly like he is doing. Or maybe some bait from a boat if you want to multi task it.
You cannot cast with that rod due to the way it's made to bend when under load.
