i rarely have slack in my braid when using it so the line curling up on itself has never been an issue. it does happen and i can see how it would tangle up if you have a heap of line hanging loose.

I was having a problem with lure fishing with braid on the beach. I never get knots with mono but i did with braid. I put a decent rolling swivel on the lure and another one at the end of the leader, this helped a bit but i found that holding the lure up for 5 seconds at the end of the cast allowed the lure to spin and take out the line twist. Seemed to cure the problem
