Re: Beach Spinning Starter Pack
Am going to Tackleworld to see if they sell the Sureset hooks in packs to fit on some of my trout lures. I don't recall seing any though. I assume salmon do the same thing as trout - jumping/head shaking to spit the hooks?
thanks

Re: Beach Spinning Starter Pack
No luck at Tackleworld in my pursuit of Sureset trebles. Fellow there said he has never seen them in a pack. I messaged Rapala Aus on fb to see if they could help me - VMC make Sureset hooks - they never replied - that was fantastic!

Re: Beach Spinning Starter Pack
Dropped in there during the week and he sold me the exact same two lures.
Can't wait to get out tonight and try them!

Re: Beach Spinning Starter Pack
What kind of rod and reel combo is everyone using with these? I've got a 10'6" Catana but I suspect its too light to throw these 40g lures out..

In risk of sounding stoopid, what is an offset treble, gets mentioned a lot but all I can work out is its something to do with hooks??? Maybe...........or not!

Re: Beach Spinning Starter Pack
Have a look at the first photo on this thread, the middle lure, one of the hooks in the treble is elongated when compared with the other two on the same hook, IE offset treble.jsp510 wrote:In risk of sounding stoopid, what is an offset treble, gets mentioned a lot but all I can work out is its something to do with hooks???
