The store I went to was Breaside, it all starts at the carpark of JV Marine, after you drive 50 meters past the door because they ahve boats in the car spaces you then have to enter via the boat shop, walk through the turnstyles hang a left up the stairs to a store that had a terrible layout where hooks could be found in various parts of the store, when I did find the ones I was after they only had small budget packs not bulk packs of 50, the staff where no where to be seen and when I did find one they checked on the computer and said we have them out the back, after spending what felt like an etirnity out the back he came out and appologised because he forgot about me. He went out the back for 10 seconds longer and came out with what I wanted handed it to me and walked back out the back, I then walked back down the stairs to the registers only to find that no staff where there. After hasseling the boat people at JV they contacted the staff up stairs and informed m that some one would be with me shortly. After more delay the same guy cam down stairs to ring my hooks up on the register, the bar code scanned the wrong price by about $50 so he had to go back up stairs to get a code, when he came back down with the code I handed him my eftpos card only to have him explain teh machine was not working at that register and I had to go through the same process at another register.Rod Bender wrote:I know you will be well versed with fishing tackle Paul so I thought you would be able to go in and find what you needed yourself! What made it take so long?ecofreak wrote:and on the occasion that I did need something it was only hooks and it took me 40 minutes from the car park into the store and out again.
thanks

The whole BCF experience was terrible from the time I parked my car till the time I left the front gate. It was a much better store before BCF came to town and killed it. Like I said worst service from any retailer in Australia and any other store I have been into around the world and yes rod bender, I am quite versed with tackle in this case it was not the tackle that was the problem it was the crappest service I have experienced that was the problem.
