Those are big autumn snappers!
What plastic did you use there? Long grub tail.

I see, that net works well with big head and deeper than the kayak net. Good cut length.
Good idea to use it as a hand paddle too! My kayak isn't a hobbie or any that has foot pedal, struggling to manouver when fighting fish against current etc.

Great vid mate!
Top effort on just 8 lbs leader. Really nice work to land a fish that size :)
Cheers

Great stuff man.
Playing Russian roulette though with those poles and snapper. Atleast you pulled one good fish outta there.
Cheers

Good stuff Alex.
I wont fish in there with anything less than 15lb leader. If the big fella's are around I'll go to 30lb, even then I'll bust off at least half the hook-ups.

The plastic is a zoom c-tail but most worm pattern plastics will work. I went back and use a 4" jiggle worm and was still catching plenty of fish (vid to come)

I'd watched paul Malovs vid and was planning on doing more bream than snapper fishing so packed my 4, 6 and 8lb leaders. Went back again with 12lb and pulled out a lot more of what I hooked
