I was in the area the other night. Got 5 after 2.5 hours of soaking strips of dead salmon. Biggest was a little under 50cm. The rest were around 32cm. Missed a lot of good bites. The small ones were annoying. Long wait between bites. Probably due to calm water.

Itching to go. Too calm for snapper/pinkies but beats watching tv.

Great fish LX, thats probably one of the first decent size snapper to be reported on this side of the bay. :tu:

Soooo calm lol but I have caught some nice size ones 60-70 when it’s been very calm. Rather be out here fishing than on the couch at home :tu:

This is the sort of thing that upsets other members when it all could have been done in one post, now tell me it's not just chasing a higher post count, cheers davo
