Altona 25/11/19

Post by Robbie1950 » Tue Nov 26, 2019 8:02 am

It's been a very tough season until the last few days for me personally. I have put in countless hours chasing the red's with little if not any luck. It actually got to a point where I didn't want to go out anymore because I was turned off.

That all changed on the weekend, its like someone flicked a switch and the reds turned on. My desire to be on the water is like never before!

The first fish I caught was on a whole silver in 10m of water off Altona (the fish that I'm holding). All in total was 4 fish, the others being smaller around the mid 40's.

The second fish I caught last night was with a snapper snatcher on a silver whiting head, also in a similar location to the weekend.

I'm really thinking if the weather stays nice and warm the fishing will explode any day now.

Good on you. I've given up chasing red this season. Few failed attempts. I'm done.
