Hi guys,

Just a quick report. My mate and I armed with fresh bait went in search of a snapper or 2. The plan was to check a couple of marks we have out deep to see if any big ones were home.
Spent an hour at each but no luck. Just the usual unwanted species, including a couple of banjos, a juvenile 7 giller and some rock cods.

So we headed in shallow to see if we could pick up a feed of nice pinkies and we were in luck.
The bites started pretty much straight away. Many undersize ones in amongst them but some nice take home size ones as well.
We had one big rod out snelled with double 5/0 hooks and a whole pillie just in case a big one might hook up, but that just kept getting destroyed by the smaller pinkies so packed that up.

We also managed to get 4 flatties and a couple of nice kgw as well.
I threw back around 5-6 pinkies which were just on 28cm. Only kept ones above 30 Cm.
We ended up with 13 keepers.
Can’t wait for the next session. Might be Tuesday next week at this stage!
