Ditto here PhilN, they are your "everyday" type of guys and as real as it gets. I love what they do for the basic Fishos, they make us feel ok with how we fish.

On the spot (or spots) notwithstanding tools, we all started from somewhere, especially when we didn't have a network of Fishos to share info with.

Think sometimes people need to figure it out and build networks. As for the episode I know his intentions are good it’s just the pressure it could add to this area.

It's always a given.
Do a segment in a location and the attention it receives is ernomous...
Look at mallacoota, starlo and bushy single handedly decimated that place after their video of squdgies came out.
The intentions are most generally good, but there are always ones who will destroy.

I am a firm believer of give the wrong person the right information and it will be game over soon enough.
For those reasons now, I don't post a location on my reports anymore..

While i havent seen the ep yet i look forward to adding it to places to fish, also i think everyone needs to remember, oz fish isnt out in a half cabin boat, some island where your only allowed 5 people and touting that you need this sponsored 300 dollar rod and reel or stuff like they they are out on foot doing this with afordable gear to get anyone fishing.

Like P5 I don’t post a location in my EP reports. Can see the place getting busy now I like the simplicity of the oz fish guys but they have got giving the location away long.

And that's exactly what was happening.
People were casting stupid looking plastics
Almost everyone were fishing mullet and it was total chaos there.
Fires were started, thrash was left and tempers flared quite a bit.
All that was never there prior to the show screening.

I agree. I like the way mazman (Alex) does it. Good fishing videos and shows technique but you'd never know where he's fishing because of the way he edits.

I agree. I like the way mazman (Alex) does it. Good fishing videos and shows technique but you'd never know where he's fishing because of the way he edits.

Maz does a good job of his videos. Watching his Cod video I had no idea where he was if I go hunting for cod ill figure it out.

There's stiĺl fires and trash left at Patto and that episode was how many years ago? And don't even mention the abandoned joint towards the freeway when the junkies are around...

I was talking about the islands, it's a **** of a spot for a first timer to the area, especially one that hasn't fished mangroves before and only fishable by boat or kayak. Can't say there was increased fishing around westernport after the youfish episodes either
