Spearing success.
Well, managed to sneak in yet another session in between giving the boat a much needed service and after an hour and a half of wading with limited visibility due to the wind, I managed to get a decent flounder and my PB garfish going 35cm. Great to be back in the water again.

Nice looking flounder, I intend to give it a crack again this year. Last year I only found flathead. Flounder must be around the bellarine just got to keep looking.

Re: Spearing success.
Nice spearing mate.
It’s something my friend and I used to do a lot of a few years ago.
Gotta get back into it probably will this summer. It’s a lot of fun. Nice catch.
Cheers

Re: Spearing success.
Solid flounder and nice gar!
There used to be a lot around St Leonards, but they've seem to have disappeared in recent years unfortunately. You'll occasionally still see a few in the shallows every once in a while.

They seem to move around a bit, they've only started appearing in my area recently, previous years I didn't see any.
