Not sure about fishing Portland now, considering the biggest fish weighed after it was gilled and gutted was 116 kg and another weighed 106 kg. So it is going to take some effort to knock these fish off the podium.

If I go down there I won't be entering the comp just go for fun.
Did anyone see the pictures of 2 Bluefin dumped in the Barwon? Not Carcasses whole fish.

I know of a few people who target them for the thrill and the picture of them next to a big fish. They don’t eat tuna themselves. There’s also plenty who don’t go prepared with a big fish bag or esky to keep them chilled for the trip back.

that happens and it is sad, this is the last comment about this issue, and all further comments about the dumping of Tuna Carcasses will be deleted.
