Are flathead in short supply?
Why am I asking this question.While at Coles deli dept this morning I noticed their price for flathead fillets were $ 50.00 a kilo. $ not even $49.50 but $50 bucks neat.Wow I 'm going on a charter boat on 28 th in PPB.hope we get some if there is any left in the bay. :dinner:

Go to an independent fishmonger and you'll probably find LJs for $8/kg that are every bit as delicious as a flathead.

Last week when I was at the Victoria market there was heaps of Flatty... whole or filleted ... was expensive also..

price Gone up cos of the long weekend
Its the usual price rise around any longweekend/holiday period

$50 a kilo that's ridiculous money. Might have to start selling my catch.
