I use to will that but cut my thumb a few times so stopped lol
So if I want to remove bones I just cut then off after I filleted the flattie

That’s how I do mine up to 35 cm over that you lose too much meat. Over 35 cm I just skin them then I use some fish deboning tweezers to remove the bones, my wife would kill me if one of her dogs got hurt by a bone,

Maybe but my fillets aren't normally that small so loosing a little bit doesn't make much difference

I’ll probably give this method a go next time I get a feed of flatties.
If I’m not happy with it can always go back to the usual way I do it :thumbsup:

Yeah i usually leave skin on because i dont like losing any meat. I find the easier to skin after being frozen though
