Try a downrigger or similar style of contraption to get the lure down deep. plenty of DIY ones on the net, so no need to spend $$$ on a proper oneBack to the topic, I am still trying to figure out how to troll a lure into 5-10 meter in a lake on a kayak. No lures dive that deep. Not that I've checked.

There isn't much space on a yak. Thinking of using a handline with like 6oz sinker on the side of the yak. Put the trolling clip and that's it.
