My first fish

Post by hispanika_xxx » Sun Nov 03, 2013 1:02 am

Hey all. Fairly new to fishing. Was my first time going freshwater fishing (dont know much about freshwater fishing at all) and im just glad i caught something.. even if it isnt much :) caught my first fish within 2 minutes of casting out. A black fish. Ended up catching another two 15 minutes after but unfortunately had to leave another 10 minutes after that due to certain things -_- overall, it was a good first freshwater experience and im glad i didnt leave empty handed
cheers

Good stuff , well done. I hope you let them go though , if you were south of the Great Dividing Range; as it is closed season for Blackfish below there at the moment. ;)

What a shark !

Cheers , Rick.

Nice fish! If by chance you were fishing in the 'closed' area and made a mistake, you need to acquaint yourself with the rules. This way you won't make the same mistake again.

Well done, :nicefish!: I love catching blacky's, there's some good water around the Yarra Ranges for them, :victory: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Well done, big smile says it all! Don't know where you fished but as Bender said, read the rules and all will be good.
