Went again this morning, knew the water would be murky but with the barometer and humidity going wild I thought it’d be worth a shot. Fished around eltham from 5:00 to 8:30 with mainly topwaters. No takes. Saw a small cod right up against the surface at my feet. He wouldn’t have a go at anything. Spotted an eel as I was walking back too. Not a successful morning, but definitely an improvement. My casting’s getting a bit better too.

Keep putting in the hard yards and you'll get your just reward. Nothing like a bit of hard yakka to make you savour your success later.

Hit up the Yarra at Eltham on surface, no luck but got some good casting practice in 😂
