Murray River at Turrumbarry and Gunbower

Post by malleestump » Fri May 18, 2012 7:21 pm

Such great weather at the moment I thought it would be a great time to visit some of my fishing spots on the Murray. Since the floods in the North East before Easter the water has moved through the Turrumbarry and Gunbower Area. And levels are back to normal with the irrigation season in full swing which has moved some of the water as well.Threw in a couple of rods ,but unfortunatly didn't get a touch. The cooler weather and falling river seems to have slowed the natives and Carp completely today.

Yes Andreas very quiet on the river yesterday with only one boat at Turrumbarry with two water marine officers on board. In the warmer times Turrumbarry has lots of ski boats on the water and it's not a good place for anglers. :cussing:
