A river out west somewhere

Just a sample of a few EP's and Bass from my local river. Have many more pics but you get the picture. Great way to spend a few hours in the yak or landbased and trying to get them out of the snags

Nice fush
Is that a tiemco cicada?
I might head there someday next a week. A mate just got a kayak so I'll take him there.

Yeah mate, a tiemco. The river is a bit dirty from all the rain and the fishing has been slow but it should improve quite quickly. PM before you go and I will tell you where the fish are holding, they are in a different area to where you last fished

Nice post - didn't know you had a kayak, good stuff!

Has the river gone back up again?

Yeah, the river is at a good level again after the rain. I have a crap kayak which is nice and light for me to carry and launch anywhere, still plenty of fish around but as many as before the rain but it will fire up again soon

Great fishing! Is the river only kayak accessible or can you fish landbased as well @seniorfisho?

It's just as good land based, just cast your lures around structure and you will find them
