I did some study, Sebb
Hazelwood pondage will not reopen unless the government make Engie reopen it.
The master plan for the area is to turn the opencut pit into 3 lakes.
Lake 1 - productive, lake 2 - environmental & lake 3 - recreational.
The pondage will be drained and repurposed
Cheers Gra
Still lingering in my head where the fisheries announced the stocking of barra and the locals were happy boosting the local economy as people would come there spending money while fishing etc, only to be closed not too long after, and dead fish, because they shut the power plant. Guessed the didn't talk to each other.
Absolutely nothing to do with other parties not communicating everything to do with left-wing politics simple as that.

Seb the only reason for the Barra was the amount of warm water from the station. No hot water no Barra mate

Btw - VFA employed someone to monitor the barramundi and remove the dead fish, not help them. It only cost us about $150,000

That’s the conspiracy theory isn’t it that the Barra were put in to reduce the amount of tilapia etc. The Barra being easier to clean up.
