That’s one thing I ALWAYS worry about at night when coming back!
If for some reason you mistakenly get stuck out after dark with no lights its a tragedy waiting to happen.
$27.90 light on a pole is a cheap trade off for safety.
I've never really fished well into the night, always paddling back when the sun's out (some light left).
But yes, in case of stuck later in the night a good light is a must.
Good news is I sold the two kayaks! And now planning for the next step.
