Chunky Patterson river bream

Went down to patto to work on some new techniques, took a while but eventually started to get stuck into them.

Re: Chunky Patterson river bream
Nice video maz.
Did you close the bail arm soon the lure got on the water? And let it drift sink?
Wait to hit the bottom before hopping or slow roll?
I'm keen to try my new Slayer 10 at Patterson.

Re: Chunky Patterson river bream
Thanks guys
Seb the stick minnows can be used in quite a few different ways but for pontoons and pylons I like to cast them in, let them hit the bottom on slack line and sit them there for a bit and then give a slow hop and let it sink back down again. Keep repeating the slow hop and sink to the bottom until you're away from where the bream will be.

Tiemco stick minnow I'm assuming.

Re: Chunky Patterson river bream
I'm using the austackle shinku which is very similar, believe it sinks a bit faster than the tiemco but not 100% sureSeb85 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 1:00 pmThanks!mazman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 11:23 amThanks guysSeb the stick minnows can be used in quite a few different ways but for pontoons and pylons I like to cast them in, let them hit the bottom on slack line and sit them there for a bit and then give a slow hop and let it sink back down again.
