Guess the Species

[Bugatti]

This one is common in bass strait but unlikely you would catch it on a hook. It has some nasty little hooks on the side of its head and a poisonous skin.
Makes good flathead bait as they seem to be able to eat them. Very slimy snotty skin. Trawl fishers hate them as they get hooked in the mesh and make a hell of a mess.

Hookies, used to love the little bastards when trawling, and they hurt when they get you also.
