He reved his car up and sped off when his boat was still on trailer unhooked with a guy on the pier holding the bow rope and it came off trailer onto the ramp with an all mighty thump

These are the sorts of shenanigans you need that cameras to send an alert about. Or at least put together a weekend highlights clipdenis barden wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 11:53 pmHe reved his car up and sped off when his boat was still on trailer unhooked with a guy on the pier holding the bow rope and it came off trailer onto the ramp with an all mighty thump

Re: Cold mornin but Fush are there
The problem is that sometimes there is so much pressure on you to get your boat out of the way that simple things get forgotten. And sometimes those simple things can have big results.
Personally i have almost forgotten to take off the straps, luckily a guy reminded me as i was about to reverse down. And i have forgotten to raise the motor when retrieving which meant i had to push the boat back off the trailer to the jetty so that i could get back on and raise it up. Not a huge deal, but it just adds to the time you are taking.
In 20 odd years of owning my own boats i think this isnt too bad of a strike rate!

The only thing better than serenity is a two stroke at full throttle!
