Get into them
Plenty of Whiting at St Leonards at the moment.Best time to fish is late afternoon.
Fish St Leonards side of the Yellow Stick -The Wreck of the Clarence.
Out yesterday while still raining 5 boats out for about 2 hours all stayed in their spot no one moving-That tells me that the fishos will be getting them
Smaller fish near the 1st green stick No7 -out from the boat ramp and larger ones about 200-400 mts from the Wreck toward the shore
Weather looks tops for the next 5 odd days

Re: Get into them
Thanks Denis. Been wanting to go there on my yak.
How far is that green stick and the wreck from the shore?
Reachable by kayak?

Re: Get into them
Thanks!
Are they like straight out off the boat ramp?
Assuming being only 1-2km out, they'll be visible.
Weekend weather is looking good for yak fishing.

Re: Get into them
Still around in the Gippsland Lakes too. Bit slower this week but a feed to be had by those that put a bit of time in.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
