It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Re: Bonnie Doon '20
Will the ppl interested in doing this trip, be able to work with these dates Nov 27th to 29th?
This will all depend on how things go at the end of this month and if we are allowed to travel to regional Vic.
If we can't do it on this weekend, then I think we may need to forget about it this yr and look forward to next

Re: Re: Bonnie Doon '20
Hopefully you can get up that weekend.
The lake is fishing the best is has for 20 yrs imo.
Around the trees were fishing Vic stay the locals are smashing huge yellowbelly at the base off the trees with little yabbies....3 to 4 cm in size.
Not touching the bigger yabbies or worms
I'm heading there next week for 5 days fishing.
Cheers bm

Re: Re: Bonnie Doon '20
So it appears everyone except boony can make it on these dates(sorry boony.) So we’ll pencil them in.
Do bear in mind we may need to cancel if the lockdown doesn’t change enough to allow us to travel, for those of us in metro region.

Ok, I’ve booked my site. If for some reason we can’t make it due to COVID, they will refund my deposit in full.
Here’s hoping everything goes to plan.
Lake is rising steadily, currently at 65%
