It’s funny I’ve gone the opposite I like a write up rather than the pic.

No worries, but i do love a good photo, as I said, I don't doubt you, it's more about me than you, lol
if I ever got kingfish, I'd write a long report and a lot of photos. 4 charter trips in the last 4 years (one each year) during peak kingfish time (when reports are flowing), either donut or cancelled.
Still in the bucket list and seems like it's going to be there for a long time.
In all due respect to yourself and others I do find when a plan comes together very satisfying but I don’t feel the urge to share every picture.
I’m not sure when I’ll get out next but am happy to offer you a trip aboard at some stage.

Apart from discussing wiring boats with Denis and arguing with P5 its been a relatively boring summer.

Few trips on fly fishing for trout and got enough to be happy.
Went and fished for bass on Tuesday in the wind at Bluerock getting some good ones on Chatterbaits
Today got into the Kingies
Ripper report, like I was there.
Keep em coming..

There's no doubt that good photos can enhance a fishing report but they're not the be all and end all. Sometimes, if they're poor photos or photos taken to deceive or exaggerate the size of the fish, they diminish the quality of the report.

I'm a very average photo taker and very often don't even take a camera with me. I have a cheap, low end phone with an inbuilt camera but it's very low resolution jobby and takes very poor quality photos, (that's my excuse anyway) :(

Photos or no photos, keep those reports coming in. Most members here are pretty savvy and soon suss out bull reports.

Did I tell you about the 50lb snapper I caught today, and that was the smallest one of three!

None of this worries me because I catch **** all fish and when I do I can’t work out how to upload the pics.

I’ve kind of actively avoided working on the boat the past couple of months. Too hot and sweaty to be doing detailed sanding. Bought a canoe for an upcoming camping trip so had a few goes in that. Then discovered spear fishing as a way to get out there landbased without being on a pier. Really enjoyed that. Been out 3-4 times in the past couple of weeks. Still learning how to point and shoot properly. But one leatherjacket has met his end so far... if only there was a way to shoot gars easily. Have swam with hundreds.

But yeah. Pretty quiet old summer on my end.

Great report Bowl but you really should start your own thread.
Did you sketch that yourself? Are you the artist behind Dragoart.com
