Talking about Whiting I've tried to create a little activity in that section.

The forum is still ok but it does seem a bit quieter than the days of Bugatti, born to fish & p5.

Same happened to MtFisho.com too

Pre 2019 it was actually not bad.
Many including myself have all but stopped posting here due to threads being constantly derailed by few repeat offenders.
We have lost many valuable members due to this!!
Personally nowdays I prefer to post more on my instagram rather than here, less judgements and issues are easily dealt with than on here.
Besides that the whole file size issue has turned me off posting any pics here..
It is up to the newer members now to keep this place running like the old days.
Many of the older posts, replies, pics and reports are all still here for people to reflect on which will always be a good thing..

Most certainly has, once in a while its good to have one even if it's just to kick the forum up into gear for a bit.
Might get the ball rolling soon I think :o_0:

Pretty much. In the past I posted an essay length, fully photographed report every time I went out fishing. Between the bushfires and Covid, the level of absolute nut crackery and hate speech on here got to the point where every thread was devolving into some nonsense. One guy called me a Communist and a Nazi in the same sentence.

An example in this very thread.

Dan and his Covid restrictions on fishing people haven't recovered
lol
A bunch of nuffcakes kept repeatedly posting nonsense, spreading misinformation and practicing un-moderated hate speech chased the people who actually contributing positively off, how could Daniel Andrews do this?

These days I live at Jervis Bay, I go rockfishing 4-5 times a week and have absolutely no interest in sharing it with anyone on here that's not already on my other socials.

It's a pity because I really, really enjoy writing reports and sharing pics.
