Got some 7/0 suicide hooks for gummies in the surf. Will these be okay?

People will say yes, though I will say they may be a bit big.
I use 4/0, 5/0 and 6/0 gamma circles. Mainly because the sharks I catch haven't gone above 8kg so far and I feel a 7/0 would be to big for the average 4 to 5 kg fish I get.

cheers mate, I probably don't have much of a chance anyway because it's my first time targeting gummies. Always a chance I'll get one though, has anyone on this site fished for them at Merimbula before?

I use mustad 5/0 suide or beak on a paternoster rig with a bomb sinker, gets those casts right out there! Great at stockyard point.
