I recently returned from a 10 night holiday in Noosa, QLD.
This was more of a family holiday so I didn't get a heap of fishing done but I still managed to put in a couple of hours every day.

I caught plenty of good fish, with some very decent sized ones in the mix - but I managed to make an idiot of myself on the last day and drown my phone in the river... Bangg
80% of my photos were lost, but I have saved a few - some from the camera, and some that I uploaded to a different website before I broke my phone.
The fish in these photos aren't huge ones, but they give a general idea of what I was catching and where I was fishing, so, enjoy.
MAIN BEACH:
The Noosa Heads main beach, on the days that not many swimmers were around, produced great catches of bream, whiting, and dart. Most fish were released, except for the occasional big whiting which I kept for the table.
NOOSA RIVER:
I usually fished the river at or close to the river mouth, with the main species I encountered being good sized bream, whiting and flathead. The occasional trevally and tailor also made an appearance.
Once again, all photos were on my phone.
FISHING CHARTER:
Dad and I went on a 7 hour charter out to the North Reef. Although no huge fish were caught, we landed plenty of pinkies (they call them squire up there), pearl perch, tailor, and other various reef fish.
Then, we made a move to a trawler wreck. Good catches of Jewfish and Cobia were made - I was desperate to land one myself, but we'd already caught too many by the time I got a livey in the water. Jewfish have a bad survival rate when released into deep water and we already had enough to feed us all. I did, however, get to pose with one. 8-)
Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing trip, and I can't wait to return next year. Here are some more pics.
Cheers, Trev
