Usually I make some token effort for cod opening. Just a half day session somewhere on a river...catch nothing then I'm over it! :) For the first time ever my 'cod opening' is likely to take place on a channel. Either at 'Spot H' or 'Spot ?' (haven't fished this place before and don't have a name for it).

On a more important note, I will neither confirm or deny that I have been in discussion with Tacklenut regarding our December comp. Communication has been hampered due to TN having pm problems but we have discussed having a 'post an informative cod trip report and TN will choose a winner' comp! When cod tripping may I suggest taking some good pics! Especially with a cod or two! Check back on this thread for details (a link) after your return before writing up any reports. Hopefully I will have it sorted by Monday. That is all!!!!!
cheers
