Coronet Bay 23/12
Winchbitch ( Mal ) and myself did a Coronet bay launch this morning kayaking of cause - tide was down so we moved out bit to a bit of a gutter and it was slow going to start couldn't even find a toad to steel a bait
so with after a couple of moves and the tide filling we found some Whiting around on the weed line in the reef island bay
a slight breeze go up and I think that helps , water to calm has the whiting a bit flighty fishing shallow - fish were caught in 2 - 2.5 meters
I came away with 17 KGW mostly in the low 30s but one @ 40 and a 41 cm flatty - Mal 10 slappers and i think a couple of squid
so a good feed and a top day for a paddle --- no pics just slack I guess

Hey mate, my holiday place is the last house on champs elysees, literally 150 meters from the ramp in C Bay.

check the link this is Google earths view of Coronet bay you can see the sand and weed patches - in the past I have caught whiting 150 meter straight in front of the ramp but whiting are where you find them and all whiting fishos move a lot to find them on the dayAllchinoman wrote:
