Flinders 24/1

Post by Aaron75 » Sat Jan 25, 2020 8:05 am

Fished Flinders last night from 9 - 12ish. Incoming tide with the high about 1am.

I thought the pier would be packed on Australia Day weekend so I planned to fish the beach, but the pier wasn't too bad so I got a quiet spot there.

The water is still a little murky from all the rain so I couldn't find any squid but still got a feed on the bait rod with frozen pippies and squid.

Happy to come away from there with no snags or lost gear.

Good size fish. Well done.
Yeah usually people lose a rig or a jig there.
A mate fished Brighton and said its murky there too.
Seems murky everywhere.
