I dont know how long for, it wasnt mentioned.
Yes jab doesn't mean you can't get it, but likelihood of spreading, ending up in hospital or dying is a lot less (thats the blurb anyway)
This has just presented itself in true life just few days ago at the aged care centre where a worker tested positive who was double vaccinated.
The aged care centre was fully tested (most residents vaccinated bar a few I bieve)and all were negative, so looks like it wasnt passed on, wether or not that was due to being vaccinated is debatable but atleast it wasn't another breakout for now.

The fact that many workplaces will make this mandatory to some form is another reason to get it.
Anyway it's still a personal choice, so what you do is entirely up to you..

Doesn’t seem like much of a personal choice to me. People are going to be forced or shamed into vaccinations by the sounds of it.

its very much still a personal decision. either you get it or you dont.
the benefits of getting it far outweigh not getting it, and that's only going to get worse (for the unvaccinated) with time.
you choose which way you want to go.

Sit at home and live on bread and water appears to be the alternative to getting vaccinated. Some personal choice.

Here is the blurb from three UK sources which forms the basis of predictions being made in this country:
Vaccine Effectiveness 3 British Sources.JPG
What has to be kept in mind also that even though some vaccinated people contract the disease for many it is milder and their viral load much lower significantly reducing the risk of them spreading it.

The chance of dying is greatly reduced and most are the elderly or with health conditions.

I'll add that the wave thats coming over the next two months may well 'vaccinate' many hundreds of thousands of Victorians unwillingly and at a very magnified risk of getting seriously ill.

While you have the chance get the vaccine. In Shepparton we even have Jabba the Bus!
