It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

OK guys, I've picked up a Diamondback fly rod that had been stored for some years. Has anybody used one of these rods, I've googled for info but was curious to find someone who had used one.

Hi Dave,

I can't see from the photo but it looks the deal. I personally like snake eyes rather than rings. Look just above the handle and it should give you a 'rating' - a # number. Match the rod +1 with the line. So if you have a #6 rod, match it with a #7 line. Ask a specific question if you want a specific answer - I'll be away for a week, just pm me if you need any more help.
There is no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer.
