Corinella 15/7
Fished corinella from 7pm to 2am Saturday night to Sunday morning. Perfect conditions but couldn't manage anything worthwhile. A bunch of undersize gummies and schoolies. No real junk fish, although a couple mates fishing nearby caught a lot of skates and gorillas which was nice to avoid. Cold weather cut the trip short but it's the first time in a while I've managed to go donuts when chasing gummies. Was still a fun night on the water, one of my mates had never caught a shark so he was wrapped to catch a few species in one night albeit small. It's also good to know small schoolies are in good numbers, just wonder where the big ones are..?

Re: Corinella 15/7
Banana prawn, pilchard and frozen squid the bait.
Unfortunately couldn't manage to burley up any salmon early in the night for bait and didnt get on the water until after dark so fresh squid was off the menu too.
May have made a difference having fresh bait - it may not.

Would have been freezing mate. I was out on my boat with the missus till around 7 and the wind picked up a little same night you were out.
Great news about the amount of small schoolies.

I ended up buying an attachable LPG heater. Did a surprisingly good job but the other blokes were colder than me due to not wearing thermals so unfortunately they were too cold.Lightningx wrote:Would have been freezing mate. Have caught lots of small schoolies in that area appears to be a bit of a nursery.

From what I read they are putting in a 4 lane ramp that should speed things upKimtown wrote:Say what? It is being upgraded? Did I miss something?Nude up wrote:Bad luck on the gummies, corinella will be packed when they upgrade the ramp it’s a great place to launch
