Teddington Reservoir on fly ?
Hi All
Never been up this way before and was wondering if it's worth having a look at Teddington Reservoir on a fly ? I see it was stocked a few years back. Any tips on fly selection ?
Thanks

Re: Teddington Reservoir on fly ?
Never been there before. But like all lakes this time of the year, any 'fish' pattern should be okay. Might see some rises on midges (reaaallyy small dry fly).
I'd just use woolly bugger, brown or green.

Awesome, thanks, will go load up the box.
For the kids, would flicking small soft plastic work ?

I think spoon or tassie devil work better than plastics for trouts. They're heavy and cast a mile, cover more areas, easy slow retrieve without having yo twitch etc.
