Re: What is the white spot in silver whiting
Or you can vacc seal the old fashioned way. 1. Fill the kitchen sink with water 2. Put your catch in a plastic bag or ziplock bag 3. Sink the bag in the water, with the opening just out of the water (the water forces the air out of the bag). 4. Close the top of the bag below the water surface 5. Lif...

Re: Cornacarpio's Cumulative Carp Culling Caper
Nice one, I tried last weekend for carp at a local creek but couldn’t entice a bite.. there was a bit of water flow, I believe this affects carp feeding, is that right?
On a side note - it’s nice to read an actual report rather than personality clashes

Re: A fishing report for a change
Nice one, sometimes taking it easy collecting bait is just as fun as the session you plan to use the bait on. I’m doubting I could even catch bait at the moment going by my last few trips. Hopefully my luck will improve as the temp increases. It’s good to see more reports being posted, keep them com...

Re: Milk crate alternative for kayak
Tim RH.PNG Thanks Tim. I like your pvc rod holder. Easy reach on both sides. Tim, not much amazes me gizmo wise but that Rod Holder Storage set-up has blown my mind. That joining U shape across to both sides is genius, pure genius, to stabilise both sides, stops twisting, firms things up AND is a r...

Re: Custom made roof rack? Does anyone know
I can’t help on the custom made roof rack, but by the time you get a decent roof rack custom made (will have to be well made as there will be decent force from the top kayak pushing toward the rear of the car due to wind creating leverage at the lower rack join) it may end up costing similar to an o...
