WA Salmon
The big bruisers are going off again this year with 5-7kg models being caught over a 300km stretch from the south west to the metro area.
From beach or boat they're taking metal, poppers, plugs and minnows as well as most baits.
Unfortunately with events like this also brings out the idiots.

Would be nice if all fishos could appreciate the resource but there's always a few that don't.
Used to be that you would get 1-2 good years like this in every 10 but the state gov has knocked back a lot of the commercial catch (cat food and fertiliser) and it has been 3 very good years in a row.
Let's hope that the good times continue.

Re: WA Salmon
Interesting that the regulations over there say you have to keep any fish you kill cool or out of the sun, would be a good way of encouraging people to think a bit before they kill a fish.
