Hey guys currently going through some trials with frozen logs and was wondering what peoples preference was on the thawing and breakup of the frozen logs (the ones in a net or bucket over the side) in terms of useable hours. Currently able to get 3-5 hours out of a 1.8kg log before breaking up completely in the gay bay on a decent day.
No company plugging and all that jazz here

Re: Frozen berley logs
i put it in the burley bucket with left over flathead frames from previous trips and i work the bucket every few mins so they burley logs probably only last a hour, if that

Re: Frozen berley logs
I used frozen burley logs last year and they do last a long time 3hrs or so, cant say I reckon they worked real good. This year I am going to try chick pellets/pilchard/bread combo in PPB
